The Absolute Best Stocking Stuffers for Toddlers

These stocking stuffers for toddlers will make your shopping easy and Christmas morning magical!  Toddlers are so much fun in general and the holiday season is certainly no exception.

BUT…sometimes it can be hard to shop for them.  They’re often still too young to really get excited about specific things, so it feels like there’s a lot of trial and error.

So I’ve taken care of the trial part for you!  All of these toddler stocking stuffers are things that ALL toddlers love (or need), so they’re a sure bet.

Good luck with all of your shopping and Merry Christmas!

These stocking stuffer ideas for toddlers are the best way to make your shopping easy and your Christmas morning magical!

Stacking Cups

These stacking cups are must-haves for young toddlers and make perfect stocking stuffer ideas.

First and foremost, these cups are addictive for toddlers.  They will stack them, use them as cups, carry them around, and put things in them.

Second, these cups can be used anywhere.  They’re great for the playroom, diaper bag, high chair, car seat…and even (or especially) the bath and beach!

If your toddler doesn’t have a set of these, then they should be your first purchase (and they’re inexpensive).

VTech Cars

Cars are always a fun choice, but these VTech cars are a step ahead when it comes to toddler toys.

They’re bigger and chunkier than your classic car (but still small) and they make really fun sounds AND light up when they’re pushed.

These were the absolute favorites of my toddlers and a toy that I often use for gift ideas.  So they’ll make a great toddler stocking stuffer.

Toddler Thermos Water Bottle

Toddlers are entering a new world of sippy cups, so it’s time to build up their collection and you will definitely want a kid-style thermos water bottle.

My toddlers both picked up on how to use these right away and it became their go-to choice for drinking options.

They will NEVER break, they seal when closed, so they won’t leak, and they’re easy for these little guys to handle.

You’ll use this for years!

Toddler Keys

Of all the toys that my toddlers had, this set of toddler keys was at the top of both of their favorite lists.

The keys are as close to real as you can get, with the sounds and light-up functionality that comes with real keys.

This is a really fun stocking stuffer idea for toddlers and one that they will really enjoy playing with.

Put-on-Your-Own Toddler Socks

Every stocking needs socks and a toddler stocking is no exception! If you want to get some really cute and fun socks, then you need to get a set of EZ Sox.

They have really fun patterns and they include no-slip grips, which are really nice.

But the best part is that they have these little loops that help your toddler learn to put on their own socks!

They’ll be obsessed with them, and so will you.  They’re definitely a toddler stocking stuffer that they’ll get really excited about!

Trains

Every toddler needs to have a set of trains!

Without a doubt, the most popular is Thomas the Train…BUT you can also get some amazing generic trains for a fraction of the price and totally stuff their stocking with them!

These are such a wholesome toy that will distract your toddler for hours, so it’s a great choice as a stocking stuffer!

Snack Catchers

If your toddler doesn’t have a snack catcher cup yet, then this definitely needs to go in their stocking!

Snack catcher cups are brilliant and loved by both parents and toddlers.

They hold a snack that your child can get to, but keep it from spilling.

Not only do they prevent a huge mess, but they’re great for car rides, stroller rides, and any other time you’re on the go.

Restaurant Placemats

Restaurant placemats are a really fun and practical stocking stuffer for toddlers…and their parents!

These placemats stick to the top of a restaurant table so that your toddler can play and eat without worrying about germs or a mess.

They’re brilliant!  Once you use these, you won’t believe you were able to live without them.

Bath Squirts

Bath toys are so much fun for toddlers and these bath squirts are one of the best!

They come in a lot of fun colors and shapes that your toddler will be totally drawn to.

Bath squirts are also a lot of fun because they can really be used anywhere – they’re great for water table toys or even at the beach!

Color-Changing Bath Book

Another really fun bath toy for toddlers is this color-changing bath book.

These books are waterproof, so they can get completely wet, but even better is that some of them change colors when they’re getting wet, which is really exciting.

This is a really great stocking stuffer for toddlers that will be a lot of fun.

Banana Teether

This banana teether is classic for young toddlers and another toy that you won’t believe how much they love.

It’s the perfect size for them to hold onto and chew and it actually works like a toothbrush…so it’s actually good for them!

If you’re little one is a newly minted toddler and doesn’t already have this, then it’s a great choice.

Daniel Tiger Figurines

Figurines are one of those things that toddlers just find so many uses for and without a doubt, both of my toddlers’ favorites were this Daniel Tiger set of figurines.

They’re the perfect size for them to carry around and they’ll start to use their imagination with them.

They can also get wet or dirty and be easily cleaned off, which is another great bonus for toddler toys.

Toddler Sunglasses

It may not be the sunniest time of the year, but toddler sunglasses are still a really fun stocking stuffer idea for toddlers!

Few things are more adorable than a toddler in sunglasses and they will have a blast wearing them just like adults.

Once the sun does show, they’re also just practical to have, so it’s a great gift idea that will actually get used.

Toddler Toothbrush

A toddler toothbrush is another great idea for a toddler stocking stuffer and a really fun tradition to start!

Now that your toddler has teeth, brushing needs to be part of their everyday routine and a great way to get them really excited about that is with a new toothbrush.

There are a lot of fun ones to choose from, but these have big handles that make it easier for toddlers to try things out themselves.

Textured Balls

Every toddler needs a good set of balls and a stocking is the perfect place for them!

These balls come in different colors and textures, which adds a new element of fun to them.

They may seem basic (and they are), but this is one of those times where the simple toy is the best. 😉

Toddler Magnets

These toddler magnets are an AWESOME stocking stuffer for toddlers and one of those toys that you forget can be so useful.

These magnets can be used on the fridge, dishwasher, or even trashcan…and they’re a great distraction for your toddler while you’re in the kitchen!

There are a ton of magnet options, just make sure you get ones that are toddler-approved…a full, flat magnet, not a small round one.

I hope these toddler stocking stuffer ideas make your shopping easy this year so you can focus on the holiday with your little one.  Enjoy what you can! Merry Christmas!
