Easter is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate with toddlers and, without a doubt, one of the best ways to introduce them to that day is by reading them some of the best Easter books for toddlers!
Since Easter typically welcomes spring (and summer is right around the corner), toddler Easter books are always really bright, happy, and joyful, which makes them great books to read all year round.
And of course, these Easter books make great additions to toddler Easter baskets, which is another fun use for them.

The Itsy Bitsy Bunny
I’m sure you’re familiar with The Itsy Bitsy Spider…but do you know The Itsy Bitsy Bunny?
This Easter book is exactly what you think – the beloved song of the Itsy Bitsy Spider, only it’s about a bunny instead!
Toddlers and nursery rhymes go hand-in-hand, so this is a really cute toddler Easter book to introduce them to that they will LOVE.
Pat the Bunny
Pat the Bunny is one of my favorite books for toddlers in general, so the fact that it is about a bunny is just icing on the cake!
This is a really classic book for toddlers and for good reason. It’s really interactive with a bunch of different things your toddler will do – touch, feel, smell, lift, etc.
This was a favorite of both of my toddlers and one that I often use as toddler gifts!
I Love You, Funny Bunny
I Love You, Funny Bunny is the most adorable, sweetest book about a baby bunny and a mother bunny…and the amazing bond that they have.
The book is perfect for toddlers because it rhymes and has really simple concepts (I love you from your whiskers to your toes…and how you wiggle your cute nose!).
This is a really fun Easter book that you’ll enjoy reading with your toddler well past Easter!
Babies Love Easter
Babies Love Easter, part of the Babies Love series, is such a great Easter book for really young toddlers.
It’s a lift-the-flap book, which is so much fun for them, but with way thicker flaps than most books, so this one will actually stay in good shape.
The book is bright and fun and introduces your toddler to different Easter words and concepts.
This is a really great one to have in the collection!
Where are Baby’s Easter Eggs?
Where are Baby’s Easter Eggs? is another really fun lift-the-flap book for toddlers that they will have so much fun with.
The story line is what you expect – you need to help the baby find her eggs.
This, of course, is a great way to introduce them to one of the funnest parts of easter – an Easter egg hunt!
Toddlers love finding things, so this simple concept makes this book truly exciting for them.
Happy and Hoppy
Happy and Hoppy is another really cute toddler Easter book that will introduce them to all the fun things that Easter brings.
It is not only a lift-the-flap book, it also comes with a handle which is something all toddlers will have fun with!
There are a lot of fun things to learn in this book, so it’s a great one to pick for your toddler.
Hop! Hop!
Hop! Hop! is a Leslie Patricelli book, which, if you’re new to her books, means it’s full of fun pictures that tell the story on their own.
It talks about all the fun parts of Easter and also teaches the different colors, which is one of the first concepts that toddlers like to learn about!
This is definitely a great Easter book to have in your toddler’s collection.
