I don’t know why, but coming up with the best teacher gifts is one of the hardest tasks…and it happens multiple times throughout the year! Teachers are often those people that you feel like you can’t possibly do enough for, but at the same time, you don’t always know them very well so it can be tough to make the right choice. So hopefully this list will help!
Many of these ideas will work for anyone, but they work especially well for teachers. In the end, what is most important is that you give them something to show your support (but if you can really knock it out of the ballpark, then that’s even better!).

Potted Succulent
Believe it or not, you can order these really high-quality succulents online, which makes it a fabulous gift to give to teachers, no matter the occasion (I’ve purchased these multiple times for myself and for gift ideas…they really are great!).
This set comes with 4 different succulents, which means you’ve got 4 different gifts ready to use! Order this set of succulent pots and your gift will be complete (for more than one teacher!).
This is definitely one of my favorite teacher gift ideas because you really can’t have too many succulents.
Yeti Mugs
These cute Yeti mugs make amazing teacher gifts because they’re extremely practical and will keep their drinks hot for hours…or cool for hours!
One of the other reasons I love this as a gift idea is that it’s the kind of item a teacher often wouldn’t buy for themselves, but totally deserve.
It’s one of those things that you just can’t believe you lived without. Fill it with candy, tea bags, or a sweet note and you’ve got a perfect gift for the teacher!
Inspirational Journals
These inspirational journals are a great gift idea for teachers that can be used for literally anything.
Each journal is lined, but blank, so they’re perfect for keeping yourself organized, making lists, creative writing, gratitude journaling…literally anything!
The size is also really nice – smaller than a standard piece of paper, so it could fit in a purse or messenger bag, but they’re definitely not so tiny that they become ineffective.
I’ve used these myself and for different gift ideas – they’re a good one to consider!
Bullet Journal Marker Pens
These bullet journal marker pens are one of those surprisingly amazing gift ideas that you will go back to again and again (and if you use them yourself, you’ll be hooked).
These are especially great when paired with other items on this list like the inspirational journals, mugs or succulents.
They come in a ton of colors and work really well, so they’re perfect for journaling and being able to use different colors for different purposes.
Amazing Socks
If you ask me, comfy, high-quality socks always make great gift ideas and teachers are no exception!
Without a doubt, the best of the best are Bombas, so if you really want to make them happy, add a pair of these to your gift basket or with a card and some money and they’ll be so grateful.
Not only are Bombas truly high-quality, but they donate a pair of socks for every pair purchased, so they’re also socially responsible.
Everytime I give someone socks as a gift, I’m pleasantly surprised by how much they rave about them! And teachers deserve comfy feet more than most of us.
Fun Cooking Kits & Extras
Really delicious, high-quality cooking kits, marinades and sauces are another really fun teacher gift idea that will get you extra points because they’re consumable!
Without a doubt, my go-to place for these kinds of products is Stonewall Kitchen. Not only are their products great, but they offer pre-made gift ideas that are perfect for this kind of occasion. Here are some of their best to consider:
Wine & Dessert Cordials
I’m always a little hesitant when it comes to gifting teachers alcohol, but in the end, everyone seems to appreciate it the most!
A great bottle of wine can often please most teachers (this wine is always a crowd-pleaser!), as will a local craft beer. If you want to change things up, you can also consider some fun dessert and after-dinner cordials, like:
Fruit-Infusing Water Bottle
These fruit-infusing water bottles are one of my favorite gift ideas for teachers because they’re practical, healthy AND unique.
The water bottle itself is great all on its own…but what makes it really amazing is that there’s a special cartridge where you can add fruit that will flavor your water for as long as you need it to.
It’s a fun way to drink more water and add some flavor to your teacher’s day!
Flowers
Whether potted or fresh-cut, flowers are always a thoughtful gift for teachers!
If you know that your teacher has their own yard – or even if you just want the flowers to last longer – then you can opt for potted flowers.
If you aren’t sure what their situation is, then splurge on a nice fresh-cut bouquet so they have something beautiful to look at for a couple of weeks. This is also a great idea to send with a card and money if you’re worried about sending money on its own.
Letter from Your Child
Most teachers teach because they love teaching, so a heartfelt letter from one of their own students can go a really long way. This is also a great idea to add to a card and money or a nice bottle of wine!
Money!
It may not be creative, but don’t underestimate the power of money! Teachers are notoriously overworked and underpaid, so this is something that can go a really long way. If you feel weird about giving them cash or a gift certificate, consider pairing it with something else that’s on this list – then you’re giving them something they’ll always remember and something that they truly deserve.
I hope this list of teacher gift ideas helps to make your shopping easy and your teacher happy! No matter what you do, it’s always important to appreciate those that are helping our children.
